Meet TOKKIA's co-founders:
Sooji and Hazelnut
TOKKIA (토끼야) means "hey, bunny" in Korean. Our co-founder Hazelnut is the bunny who started it all — fond of her greens, hopping about and bringing small joys to Sooji.
When Sooji opened our first Korean matcha house in Covent Garden, that warmth found its way into the space. A small wish followed it in: to bring the calm and care of Korean spirit to London.
The tea is grown on the misty hillsides of Jeju and Hadong, looked after at every step from leaf to bowl. The people we work with — from Korea to London — share the same instinct.
A place to slow down, if you'd like.
Hazelnut says hi, by the way.
